Inspired by the ""Crash"" artwork on the 2023 Crossroads ""Crash"" Stratocaster. This guitar was built and painted by Fender at their Corona USA factory and is the prototype for the production of the Eric Clapton ""CRASH"" Stratocaster, a limited edition of 60 guitars. This guitar was donated by Guitar Center's Michael Doyle. It has been signed by Eric Clapton at the 2023 Crossroads Festival in Los Angeles. 8lbs. Original hard case included. Condition: Excellent. All profits from the Festival and auction will benefit The Crossroads Centre at Antigua, a treatment and education facility foun we ded by Clapton for chemically dependent persons. Earlier this year, Eric Clapton assembled a huge legion of electric guitar and acoustic guitar heroes for the 2023 Crossroads Guitar Festival – a six-string celebration that also served as the 25th anniversary of the event. To celebrate that fact – and to raise funds for the charitable foundation that the Crossroads Festival serves – Slowhand has now teamed up with Heritage Auctions for an all-star guitar auction. Comprising stage-used, hand-signed and one-of-one instruments owned and played by the many Crossroads alumni, the auction is set to take place on December 8, with all proceeds going towards the Crossroads Centre in Antigua."
