"Built by Todd Krause, Hand-Painted by John ""Crash ""Matos, and Stage-Played and Signed By Eric Clapton Eric Clapton's Stage played 2019 Fender ""Crash"" Multi-Color Stratocaster Solid Body Electric Guitar, Serial #CZ542951. Owned and played by Slowhand during the 2019 Crossroads Guitar Festival. This 1 of 1 Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster was hand-painted by John ""Crash"" Matos and built by renown Custom Shop luthier Todd Krause. Eric played this guitar during CGF 2019 collaborations with Peter Frampton on ""While My Guitar Gently Weeps,"" with John Mayer on ""Layla,"" and in the grand finale tribute to Prince on ""Purple Rain."" Included is a Certificate of Authenticity from the Fender Custom Shop, signed by Todd Krause. Case-candy and the Fender Custom Shop spec sheet is included as well. Eric has never before allowed one of his personal, stage-played Crash Strats to be auctioned. This is the only one in the world.
